This also applies to a bunch of other folders.So, when a program goes looking for the Documents and Settings folder, it is transparently re-directed to the Users folder in Vista. Vista Won't Install Programs

Before leaving I got chance to remove bulk of registry errors (it's slow-10 at a time- but effective).
